Diego's practice specializes in structuring sophisticated transactions, whether through Mergers, Acquisitions and Strategic Alliances (M&A), complex licensing agreements, among many others, in the Media and Entertainment, Sports Law, Advertising Market, Telecommunications and Broadcasting, as well as comprehensive advice on corporate, transactional and business matters.

For years, Diego directed the legal areas of various companies related to these sectors, providing advice and structuring a wide variety of highly relevant operations both in Mexico and abroad, for which he has extensive international experience as a fundamental part of his practice.

Within his experience, he has provided advice and has been a fundamental part in the negotiation for the acquisition, divestment and strategic alliance with various companies, acquisition and sale of the most relevant content worldwide, national and international productions and co-productions, marketing and distribution of restricted television signals with adherence to legislation and asymmetric regulation on Economic Competition, among many others.

During 2007 and 2008, Diego worked as an International Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York City, where he actively participated in a wide variety of M&A, capital market, financing, real estate, and financial regulatory compliance transactions.

Diego studied Law at Universidad Anáhuac and his Master of Business Law at Universidad Panamericana.

Roberto Cornish
Over the years, Roberto's practice has focused on the legal advice and structure of several transactions and business projects worldwide, as well as on different aspects of the operation and administration of companies in different industries. In addition, he actively participates in corporate and business operations such as Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and has been involved in the evaluation and structure of businesses, strategic alliances and other significant transactions in different business sectors.
Roberto has participated in numerous areas of the entertainment business, on a worldwide basis, from the financing, production, distribution and exploitation of diverse content and events, whether as rights holder or as the licensee of the relevant rights. The foregoing, dealing with the main players in the industry, knowing its operation and business model.

As part of his professional career, Roberto was in charge of the legal department of a print media company with a strong presence in the US and Latin America, being an active part of the decisions related to the restructuring, administration and daily operation of such company, being the first responsible for the legal aspects of the more than 20 companies which comprise the business group. Roberto has extensive knowledge to conduct and advise different transactions worldwide, considering the legal implications and managing risks.
Roberto obtained his law degree in the Anahuac University in Mexico, completed a Master's degree at the Universidad Panamericana, as well as certificates from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and Yale University.

Roberto is fluent in Spanish and English, understanding and using a large number of technical terms applicable under US legislation and other Latin American countries.
